Ordering from Crafty Coast

Payment  Payment is taken via Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay with Paypal; you can choose to pay securely as a Paypal guest using your credit or debit card, without ever opening an account. All card details are handled by Paypal, and are not seen by Crafty Coast.  Crafty Coast may be able to see your email address and your confirmed postal address after you have completed and paid for your order. This information is only used for fulfilling your order. Please see our privacy policy for more details.  Please ensure the name and address you have supplied to Paypal is the correct postal address for sending your order. Paypal protection is only available when the order is sent to your Paypal registered address. Neither Crafty Coast, nor Paypal can be held responsible for incorrect addresses. Buying Items from this Web Site (In stock items)  Once payment has been received for items from the website within 7 working days, they will be dispatched to you at the address which you have provided to Paypal at the time of ordering. If, for any reason, this time frame is not possible, we will contact you via email to inform you.  Please allow sufficient time for postal services or couriers to deliver your order. Commissions  Before commissions are agreed, I (Tracy Beattie) will discuss your requirements and agree a time frame within which the work will be undertaken and completed.  Please note that there are waiting lists and lead times to take into consideration.  Materials used from the beach will all vary from one to another, so no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. This also applies to any handmade or hand- painted item, which will vary slightly from piece to piece.  If I have agreed to undertake a commission, I require 50% of the total cost to be paid upfront. This secures your order. I require the remaining 50% to be paid 4 - 6 weeks before completion.  The 50% deposit is non-refundable.  If the customer wishes, and agreed upon by myself, full payment can be taken at the time of ordering. In this case, if for any reason an order is cancelled, I will retain 50% of the original paid fee, and return the remaining 50% to you, the customer.  There are no returns or refunds available on bespoke commissions. Merchandise  Merchandise products such as greeting cards, calendars, badges, fridge magnets, tea towels, mugs, shopping bags, etc, with Artwork by Tracy Beattie, may be purchased wholesale.  Exclusive merchandise for your shop or business can also be designed and produced for you.  Please contact us at Tracy@CraftyCoast.co.uk with your ideas and requirements. Copyright  Please note that all copyright rests with the artist, regardless of any source material used. Full copyright to images produced by the artist can be negotiated, and agreed in writing, prior to dispatch of the work. This cannot be negotiated once the work has been dispatched. Without written agreement the copyright in the Artwork will remain with the artist even after ownership of the Artwork, including commissions, is transferred to the Customer. I may produce prints/cards and other merchandise of my original artworks unless written exclusivity agreements are made.  No part of the artist’s work may be borrowed or reproduced in any form without the express written permission of the artist, Tracy Beattie. All infringements in copyright will be pursued through a court of law.  You may only sell the artist’s work if you have entered into a written agreement with her under the terms and conditions of wholesale or sale or return or other retail arrangement. Postage and Packaging  Great care is taken when packaging your order to ensure your order is received by you in perfect condition.  All items will be sent either by Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Courier or other International Mail Services  To reduce our eco footprint, and to help protect and conserve the environment, packaging materials are re-used and re-cycled where possible, however in many instances this is not possible. We would ask you, where possible to continue to re-use any packaging materials you receive from us, in order to help the environment. Remember to always remove your address details and sender's address details from any packaging before re-using or discarding, in order to protect yourself and others from identity fraud Customs or duty charges  If you are buying from outside the UK, please note that any customs charges, duty fees, or applicable taxes incurred for your country are the responsibility of you, the purchaser. Damaged or Lost items  Once an item has been placed into the care of Royal Mail or a Courier, it becomes their responsibility to deliver your items safely to your address, and all risk passes to you.  Please allow enough time for your order to arrive.  In the UK, if your order has not arrived within 2 weeks, please contact us. Please allow longer when ordering from outside the UK.  In the case of missing or damaged packages, as the sender of the item(s), I am required to file all claims with the delivery companies, and you will be required to give as much information as possible for their investigations. You must also be willing to provide a short, signed statement.  I cannot issue any refunds until such a time as Royal Mail or the Courier have completed their investigations.  Refunds will be issued, after and depending the outcome of investigations of the delivery company used, or at the discretion of Crafty Coast Returns Policy  Refunds or exchanges may be made within 7 days of receipt. The item must be returned to ourselves by recorded & insured delivery (at customer expense). The item must be in perfect condition and be within all the original packaging. You are legally obligated to take reasonable care of our products while they are in your possession. Once I take receipt of the return, I will carefully inspect the item, and if deemed to be in perfect condition, a full refund minus postage costs will be issued.  Refunds are usually issued using the same method which was used for payment, however we reserve the right to issue refunds in another method if appropriate.  Returns, refunds or exchanges cannot be issued for commissions or personalised items. The only exception to this rule is where a mistake has been made on our part such as a spelling mistake. In this case, once the item has been returned to us, in otherwise perfect condition, we will examine it carefully upon receipt and issue a full refund where appropriate, including postage costs. Events outside our control  We cannot be responsible for any events outside our reasonable control, or for the temporary cessation of services during such time.  Events outside our control include, but are not limited to the following:  Severe weather conditions and their effects which may impede delivery, supplies or other conditions relating to your order. This includes, but is not limited to: extreme conditions such as heavy snow, ice, flooding, wind and damage or disruptions caused by such, for example, power cuts, impassable roads, building damage, travel warnings, etc.  Natural disasters relating to weather conditions, subsidence, earthquakes or other.  Strikes or industrial actions held in either in sender's country, the recipient's country, or en route between the two, which may impede delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, strikes by Royal Mail or other courier companies.  Civil unrest, riots, acts of terrorism, war, epidemics or pandemics either in the sender's country, recipient's country or anywhere en route. By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to and are bound by these terms and conditions.
